Whether it be a solo artist, band, signed musician or someone starting out, we have it covered. We provide top level professional recordings from two locations, either the centre of Manchester (Northern Quarter) or in the peaceful countryside setting of Knutsford, Cheshire.
The Knutsford studio is the larger of the two studios ideal for band recordings, large songwriting sessions, singer songwriters, podcasts, voice over recordings and ADR. It has a separate vocal booth, drum room, and control room, joined by soundproof glass so you can track a full band at once with line of sight with no instrument bleed. The rooms are treated by Acoustic Solutions and have some of the best acoustics you’ll find for a drum room and vocals. We also have ATC300’s, £30,000 worth of monitoring for a unique and world class listening and tracking experience. Recording wise we have a Neve Genesys desk with Avid HDX audio interfaces coupled with extra Neve and API pre’s. Outboard we have a wide range of hardware including Tube Tech Compression and EQ’s, SSL, Distressors, API and Charter Oak.
The studio is located about 10 minutes drive from Manchester Airport just a few minutes outside of Knutsford. It’s a great location for clients and bands from overseas dropping into the UK, and not too far from Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and the Midlands.
Our Manchester Norther Quarter studio is a fantastic production suite perfect for for solo artists, singer songwriters composition, beat making, audio post production, ADR, voice over recordings and podcasts. It has a separate, quiet soundproofed vocal booth away from the control room to give a precise recording, no background noise.
It’s well equipped with all the latest software (Pro Tools, Logic, Abelton), soft synths (Serum, Sylenth, N.I Komplete, Autotune Antares, Melodyne) UAD Apollo interface with UAD mixing software and Neumann U87 mic as standard.
